Starting position

Stand in the centre of a loaded trap bar, hinge down with a flat back, grip the handles and stand up as in a trap bar deadlift.

  1. 1

Stand tall with arms long and shoulders set back.

  2. 2

Brace and walk forward with short, even steps.

  3. 3

Keep the bar level and prevent it from tilting or swinging.

  4. 4

Stop at the end of the distance and lower the bar with a neutral spine.

Breathing: Take short breaths behind a braced trunk throughout the walk.
